Danish "Bell" Portable Table Lamp
Danish "Bell" Portable Table Lamp
The Danish "Bell" Portable Table Lamp is a cordless, rechargeable lamp with a rounded bell shade, a slim stem, and a weighted non-slip base. No cord, no outlet to plan around — it goes wherever the light is needed.
Tap the top of the shade to switch on, tap again to dim. The warm white light is diffused through the shade for ambient glow rather than a hard beam. Charging is magnetic: the cable snaps onto a contact under the base, so there is no port to line up and nothing breaking the silhouette.
Indoors, and Out on the Porch Too
Nightstand at night, kitchen island while you cook, the terrace table after dinner. Rated IP44 against splashes, so a covered outdoor spot is fair game, and the weighted base holds steady on uneven stone.
Available in Dark Green, Brick Red, Bright Yellow, Greige, Stone Blue, Baby Blue, Light Sand, Signal Green, Matte Black, and Matte White.
Why This One
Light That Moves With You
Seven Hours on One Charge
Run at full brightness, the built-in battery lasts seven hours — enough to carry an evening from dinner through to bedtime without a thought. Around five hours on the cable brings it back to full.
A Bell That Hides Its Own Source
The shade flares out and turns under at the rim, tucking the LED board well up inside the dome. Sit down beside it and you see a lit ring on the table, never the emitter — the reason it can sit at eye level on a nightstand.
The Lacquered Shade's Warm Pool
The inside of the dome is smooth and glossy, so a 1.5W warm white board throws more light than the number suggests. Tap the crown to step it down — at the lowest setting it lands as one soft circle with no glare into the room.
Rated IP44, So the Terrace Counts
Splash-resistant from every direction, which is what separates this from an indoor-only lamp: a covered porch, a balcony rail, a table by the pool. The base is weighted and non-slip, so it stays put on uneven stone.

Before first use: Snap the magnetic cable onto the contact under the base and charge for about five hours. Any 5V USB port or phone adapter works. IP44 covers splashes and light spray — keep it under cover outdoors and bring it in before a storm.
| Overall Height — 11.8″ | 11.8″ tall (30 cm), from the tabletop to the crown of the shade — tall enough to read by from a nightstand, short enough to sit under a wall-mounted shelf or a low headboard. |
| Shade | ∅ 7.1″ (18 cm) at the rim — the widest point of the lamp. Allow roughly that much clear surface and the whole fixture sits comfortably. |
| Base | A weighted disc noticeably narrower than the shade, finished underneath with a non-slip pad — it holds steady on stone, glass and polished wood. |
| Where It Fits | Comfortable on a nightstand from about 12″ deep, and on a console or shelf from about 8″ deep. On a dining table, one lamp lights a setting for two; space them about 24–30″ apart down a longer table. |
| Setup | No wiring, no outlet, no tools. Snap the magnetic cable onto the contact under the base for about five hours, then lift it with one hand and put it wherever the light is wanted — up to 7 hours at full brightness. |
|
Tip: A pair reads as a set on a long console or on matching nightstands — either the same finish for symmetry, or two tones from the same family. Because there is no cord, you can also buy one for the bedroom and simply carry it to the dining table when guests come. |

Dinner Runs Long
Set it in the middle of the table where a pendant would glare. Three hours of low light carries a dinner from the first pour through to the last plate cleared.
9:30 PM · 2 hrs
Carried to the Bedside
Lift it off the table and set it on the nightstand. Tap the crown down a step and read for two hours without the ceiling light waking anyone.
6:30 AM · 2 hrs
Still Going at Breakfast
On the kitchen counter before sunrise, two more hours are left in it — enough for coffee and the school run without ever finding an outlet.
Then snap it back on. The magnetic cable clicks onto the contact under the base — about five hours to full, with no port to line up in the dark. Leave it charging while you are out and it is ready before the next evening starts. Seven hours is measured at maximum brightness; dial it down and it stretches further.
