Clear

The Brightest of the Three

Ribbed clear glass lets the light through almost unchanged, so the room stays whatever colour you painted it. The ribbing catches the light along each fold, which is what stops it reading as plain glass. The safest choice in a scheme you have already settled.

 

Green

Cooler, and Deeper at the Rim

A sage-toned green that darkens where the glass folds over on itself. It cools the light a shade and sits naturally with walnut, rattan and dark green cabinetry — the one to pick if brass and warm wood already dominate the room.

How many should I hang?
At 9.8″ across this is a small pendant by design. One is right over a nightstand, a console, a stair landing or a reading chair. Two suit a table for four or a short island; three suit a table for six or an island over 7 ft. A single small pendant over a full-width dining table will read undersized no matter how good the fixture is.
Which bulb should I use, and is one included?
The pendant takes one E26 / E27 bulb, max 40W, and bulbs are not included. This matters more here than on most fixtures: the shade is a shallow bowl, so the bulb hangs visible below the rim. Choose a decorative warm white bulb — a globe or Edison style around 2700K. A bare frosted household bulb will look wrong and glare directly into the room.
How does it hang, and can the length be adjusted?
It hangs from a braided fabric cord, not a rigid rod. The cord can be shortened at installation to suit your ceiling height, which is also how you level a run of two or three to the same drop. Over a table or island, hang the bottom of the glass 30–36″ above the surface.
Can it be dimmed?
Yes, if you fit a dimmable bulb and pair it with a compatible wall dimmer. The fixture uses a standard socket with no built-in driver, so dimming depends entirely on the bulb and switch you choose. The push-button switch on the socket turns the light on and off only — it does not dim.

Remember you are choosing the colour of the light, not just the fixture. Clear passes the light through almost unchanged and leaves your room's own colours alone. How do I clean the glass?
Switch off and let the bulb cool completely first. Wipe with a soft, barely damp cloth and dry straight away — the ribbed folds hold dust, so a soft brush helps along the grooves. Avoid abrasives, and always support the shade at its brass collar rather than gripping the rim: the petal edges are the thinnest part of the glass.
